ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages is hiring a Planning Manager - BPL Logistics. 


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Responsible for collaborating with and influencing Sales and Delivery leadership to deliver a strategic plan that utilizes the necessary resources empowering them to effectively and efficiently service Direct Store Delivery (DSD) customers. This position will also be responsible for educating all stakeholders and building their trust of Strategic Route Planning activities while driving continuous improvement of key business indicators.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Partner with Sales and Delivery teams to ensure the business processes are aligned to clearly define business results.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Responsible for identifying and developing core talent. Coach and develop a team of direct reports while ensuring a culture of learning & development exists. Spend a lot of time leading, teaching and coaching.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Manage and lead Planning team, (Sales: Omnitracs Territory Planner; DSD: Leo; Merchandising: Merlin), ensuring that maximum efficiencies/lowest possible cost delivery methods, driver efficiencies and balanced sales days are applied to all DSD dispatched loads and sales routes
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Maintenance for accounts in sales routes. Management and maintenance of accounts in LEO system.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Route Plans – Perform analysis of current state to develop strategies with multiple scenarios to improve efficiencies /effectiveness.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Diagnostics (include cost analysis) – Utilize tool and process that delivers KBIs to indicate which locations have the most opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency of a plan.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Provide info & analysis – Analyze and interpret data; share with stakeholders to influence decision making<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Change Request – Process and test requested changes from BPL role.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Activity Calendar – Develop & update timelines to execute strategic plans and maintain calendars with partners.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Investigate, recommend and implement new technologies.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Document and update processes and procedures in Planning and Fleet.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Partner and communicate daily with DC management teams for continuous improvement of best practices across the business.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Identify key business indicators and assist in data analytics to measure business results.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Build and maintain relationships across the organization to enable communication, leadership and collaboration.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ability to communicate effectively through verbal, written and other skills.
  • <span lang="EN" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Local travel may be necessary. <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Other duties as assigned.


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">REQUIREMENTS:              

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Bachelor’s Degree; three to seven years’ planning or analytical experience, preferably in the goods/beverages industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Six Sigma, APICS Certification preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Good computer skills; Excel, Access and SAP strongly preferred; 3rd party Testing tools – HP/ALM preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Strong mathematical, problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Good verbal and written communication skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Must be able too work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-priority team environment
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Valid driver’s license with MVR within Company guidelines


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">This position can be based out of any of our DCS but reports to the Pittsburgh SC.
